The brothers Grimm (Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786-1859)) were German authors that inspired many by their popular fairy tales.

Some of the brothers Grimms' most popular fairy tales are "Cinderella", "The Frog Prince", "Hansel and Gretel", and "Rumpelstiltskin" and several others. The Grimm fairy tales have inspired books and movies by many important companies such as Disney. The Grimm fairy tales are available in more than 100 languages.
